Secretary – PSAC Toronto Regional Office
Before I began my role as a secretary within PSAC, I worked with Christopher Wilson, Ontario Region Organizer, as a student organizer in the Toronto Regional Office. I enjoyed organizing immensely because it gave me the opportunity to interact directly with people who were trying to improve their working conditions. For this reason I would like to work with CULE’s membership to improve our working conditions.
I have worked on a variety of projects this year including the Toronto Health and Safety Conference, 2006 PSAC Union Development Program, and sat on the CULE Equity Resolutions Committee.
My educational background is in left-wing, social and political thought through my degree in Environmental Studies. I am a firm believer in social justice, equality, and progressive education to advance our labour movement and society as a whole.
