CULE election results and 2nd ballot procedure

The following results are now available for the positions on the CULE Executive

For the position of President there was no clear majority so the following candidates remain in the running for position of President

  1. Anna Goguen

  2. Dolly Albitt

  3. Dave Jackson

 The position of CULE 1 Vice President the ballots cast resulted in a tie

Congratulations to these new and returning members of your Executive

  1. Sandra Goodick has been elected as Treasurer

  2. Lorraine Diaper has been elected as Secretary

  3. Janelle HoShing has been elected as Equity Director

  4.  Anne Juneau has been elected Director of the North

  5. James Little has been elected as Director of  BC

Elections will be held for the following positions

There will  be a second ballot for the position of President


  1. Anna Goguen, nominated by Susan Payne, seconded by Shelley Jamieson

  2. Dolly Ablitt, nominated by Nancy MacLean, seconded by Oneil Carlier

 Brother Dave Jackson has removed his name from the Ballot

Vice-President, CULE Unit I

  1. Joan-Ann Gravesande, nominated by Sean Glavine, seconded by Judith Monteith-Farrell

  2. Abudi Awaysheh, nominated by Anne Juneau, seconded by Stephen Peterson

prior to the deadline – close of business December 16 2013 – please take this into account when sending ballots via inter-office mail.
