CEP Local 2025 sent a letter to your CULE Executive inviting us to discuss with CULE members an offer of merger with their Local. Your Executive met on February 19th to discuss this letter. We discussed this matter further at a meeting held on February 27th. CULE responded to CEP Local 2025 earlier today. Directors will be consulting with CULE members as quickly as possible with a deadline of March 15, 2013. At that time a meeting will be held to discuss the content of those consultative meetings to determine what our next steps should be.
