A strike vote has been scheduled.
Please read the following instructions carefully. If you have any questions, contact your Director.
There will be two separate strike votes taking place at the same time.
The first strike vote will be taking place under the Canada Labour Code legislation for the CULE Unit in the North. Unit I and II members working in the North (YT, NT, and NU) should print out and return the strike ballot, using the double envelope system to the Yellowknife RO.
The second strike vote will be taking place under the Ontario Labour Relations Act legislation. Unit I and II members working in the BC, Prairie, Atlantic, Ontario, and NCR regions should print out and return the strike ballot, using the double envelope system, to the Moncton RO.
It is crucial that members’ mark their name and regional office on the outer ballot envelope. Envelopes not marked as such can not be verified and the ballots enclosed within will be considered spoiled.
The deadline for the receipt of the strike vote ballots by both the Yellowknife and Moncton RO’s is April 14, 2011.

The strike vote results will be provided to the membership on or about Friday April 15, 2011. The next CULE bargaining session is scheduled for April 17.
